Strolling on Istanbul

My favorite Turkish photographer is Ara Guler, a friend of famous Henri-Cartier Bresson, who has joined the Paris Magnum Agency. He wrote on Istanbul in his book as following; "Whenever I go out taking photographs in Istanbul, I make my way through streets like these. For me, when I take a photograph, I take a photograph of the world I feel within me". I love very much these words. Here I show you my photographic skeches on Istanbul. All pictures were taken by Nikon F50, an easy automatic camera, with AF Nikkor 35mm 1:2D and Fujicolor Super G400. Photographic images were processed by Kodak Film Scanner and IBM PC with Adobe Photoshop 3.0J for Windows95.
