-People are tough- 14 Dec., 1995
His name is Mr. Nagayama. Everybody calls him "Enka-no-Tarboh" (that Means popular love song's Tarboh. Tarboh is a kind of nickname). He is the owner of a Karaoke-bar in Sannomiya, Kobe (downtown Kobe). He lost his karaoke-parlour from the earthquake. In former times, he was a strolling musician in Sannnomiya, Kobe. So, he knows Sannnomiya town from one side to the other. One of his fans who is the owner of a building that survived the earthquake, donated one floor for use as his new bar. The Interior was refined for use as a bar. His bar was one of the first re-opened after the earthquake. He was worried about how others would feel about his fast comeback. He could not sleep well because he dreamed of somebody setting fire to his re-opened bar. Today, he can sleep well and his bar is full every night. A lot of his fans come up to his bar, sing some songs and forget their sad memories for a few hours.PS: Some Japanese people asks to me "why he smiling" or "nothing links with Earthquake" with this photo.
No. What the victims can do? Cry forever? Please think why they are smiling. In the heart, person who experienced Earthquake are easily remember how it was.
