One of the 3 bicycles had been prepared for climbing Colorado's mountains. The other 2 bicycles were prepared for use in most places. But one of the brand-new frames was cracked soon after he left Los Angeles. Therefore he could not use the new one in this race (upper left). Yet another bicycle has been cracked, too)Both frames are cracked and the mounting position for the Softride.
